Rome Floods December 2008. Rome Italy www.romanlife-romeitaly.comThe video shows thePonte Sant' Angelo Bridge in Rome Italy , in front of Castel Sant' Angelo. There are about 5 boats (house boats, barges, and a Tevere dinner/tour cruise boat) that due to the Rome floods have broken free from their moorings. The have been crushed and wedged between the arches of the bridge. The situation is quite dangerous because the boats are obstructing the flow of water. To prevent any further rising of water and pressure against thePonte Sant' Angelo the fire service have been ordered to dismantle the boats.
