Why is Mivid.net Better than the other video sites?

• Higher Quality Videos. Videos uploaded to Mivid are not restricted by the 320x240 quality that many sites like Youtube have. We Do NOT resize our videos (PERIOD)! This means that you can upload videos of literally any size! We do recommend using video no bigger than 1920x1080 for streaming purposes. Pretty incredible, huh? We do a great job anyway on conversion so you don't have to worry about the video looking any worse than the source file! Mivid's uploads also have a higher bitrate allowance for both video and audio, powered by a dynamic bitrate system for a supreme video quality to video file size ratio. There is no time limitation so your videos can be hours long. The only limit we have in place is that you may only upload videos as big as 600MB (used to be 500MB), which should suit most needs. We may increase this in the future as we continually upgrade our system.
• Super Fast Video Streaming. Mivid has put thousands of dollars into creating a system that optimizes videos to being significantly smaller than their original while keeping every bit of detail. On top of this, Mivid uses a state-of-the-art bandwidth system so videos will download at your maximum download speed. This means that Mivid's videos load on average about 5 times faster than any of the other video websites.
• Highly Reliable Video Uploading Mivid has spent countless hours on creating an upload system that can convert almost any videos. This is all thanks to one of our major partners. You may have noticed we no longer say we are the fastest, because we are not. We have traded speed for reliability and quality which is much more important.
• It's Free! Need we say more? The only thing that costs money is a premium membership, but that is only if you want to access content posted by our sponsors who want to have it paid for. A free account will get you everything else on the site, nothing excluded.
• HD Video Embedding. We find it quite annoying to not be able to embed in HD, so we did it automatically for you. All you have to do is copy the embed code on any of the videos and you will get the exact video quality you see on Mivid.net All videos that are HD are shown in HD, nothing less.
• Relaxed Policing. Mivid does not want be labeled like a dictatorship, and that is why we are much more lenient than some of the other sites. This doesn't mean we don't censor anything, however.
• Simple Yet Powerful Private Video Sharing. As many of our users have pointed out, our private video sharing system is much simpler than the competition. When you upload a private video, you can send it to family and friends with a simple link -- the people you send it to don't even need to have an account on Mivid.net!
• Easy-to-use. Mivid is a straight forward site which was made in the belief that anyone can use the internet, no matter their computer skill level. Uploading your HD videos doesn't have to be hard -- some sites make you upload your HD content in a certain filetype and/or codec which we find quite confusing. Here on Mivid.net, you can be assured that if the video you uploaded is HD, it will come out HD.
• New Features. The Mivid Team works hard every day to make sure Mivid.net is as up to date as possible with features and is constantly adding new features. Take for instance our cool, new addition of the YouTube video automatic uploader, our manual YouTube or Break uploader, a feedback system, video optimization, or high speed video streaming.
